Avon Navigation Trust joins the world in paying tribute to Prunella Scales CBE, who died yesterday (October 27, 2025), aged 93. Our esteemed Patron's sons, Samual and Joseph West, have issued a statement saying she died peacefully, at home. “Her last days were comfortable, contented and surrounded by love.”
ANT was truly honoured to have Prunella – whose acclaimed acting career spanned nearly 70 years – as our Patron, along with her late husband Timothy West CBE.
